I have always been difficult to fit for business clothes. Anthony Calli, Assistant Manager, assisted me as soon as I walked into the store and guided me to Made to Measure selections. We met with Vlad Rozenfeld, the store's tailor.Both men helped me select styles and appropriate materials and then Vlad went to work with his magic . They are a dynamic duo and a joy with whom to work. The results were perfectly fitting garments and the knowledge that I have a store and staff I completely trust.

This should be zero stars. My 86 year old father went to the Madison Ave location today to pick up the pants we bought him and he was ignored by the three sales people. He flagged down a blond sales woman and gave his name for pick up. She walked away, helped another customer, and then proceeded to go on her lunch break. All while my dad was waiting. He then asked someone else and eventually received the pants. They were supposed to be tailored and they weren’t. He was there for 45 minutes. He said he felt they presumed he wasn’t the right kind of customer and made zero effort to help him. 86 years old on a frigid day. Shame on you. My entire family (who have been long time customers) will no longer be shopping at any Brooks Brothers store. I will pass this on to our friends as well. This is how you train your staff to treat your own customers?

From the moment I stepped into the Madison Avenue location the staff made me feel so comfortable throughout the suit tailoring process. This is the first time I had a suit custom made. I was honestly clueless about some of the smaller details, but ATIYA helped me every step of the way. She elevated my experience 10x. She worked with the staff to get me fitted for my wedding day. All of the alterations were done beautifully. Such a friendly atmosphere and would recommend you go there for a custom outfit. Got great custom suits here. Not going to lie, the store is small and a bit chaotic, but can’t argue with the result. Got a perfect fitting suit for my wedding and our personal tailor, Eric, was extremely knowledgeable and had great tips and recommendations. I received many compliments on my suit on my wedding day. Would recommend their service to friends.

It is always a pleasure to shop in Brooks Brothers on 86th Street and Madison Avenue, mainly because of Anthony Cali, Assistant Manager. His service is outstanding! His expertise, gracious demeanor, patience, humor, and the caring way he treats his customers harken back to another time, when a buyer had a professional personal relationship with a sales associate, and purchasing clothing was not just about the item itself but equally about the experience of the purchase. Mr. Cali always puts the needs of his customer first, makes suggestions, but never pressures. He is a consummate professional and is a master of the personal touch. Working with him in the selection of a purchase is always an enjoyable experience. We are grateful for Anthony’s wonderful service and we look forward to the next time we visit Brooks Brothers again.

What great experience! Needed a last-minute suit for my brother’s wedding. Chava and Edgar were masterful. They took the time (3+hrs) to work with me and measure carefully and explain the entire process. They guided me the entire way and also listened and took my opinions seriously. Excellent service - highly recommend. We recently followed this up for additional tailoring and Vlad was was a true expert. He worked his magic and turned a great suit into perfection. He made sure I was very happy with my suit and even finished everything ahead of schedule. I can’t thank Vlad enough, and the rest of the group here for the wonderful service.

I miss he first ownership and the starship store in Madison Avenue, it is painful to see that store still closed....for what for money? It is a shame. I still buy some products but is not the same. The staff always is attentive, helpful and professional....maybe is the reason I still go for some pants and sweaters...

Vlad Rozenfeld of Brooks Brothers on 86th Street and Madison Avenue, is the essence of an impeccable tailor. I discovered this when I ordered a tuxedo at Brooks. There were several fittings to make certain everything was just right. Mr. Rozenfeld has a keen eye and attention to the most minute of details. While he knows from experience what may need to be altered, he always asks the customer what his/her comfort level is and is he/she happy with the length, button placement, etc. He has infinite patience and always takes time with his customers, no matter how many questions there may be. Knowing that one does not have to settle for a garment that is not quite right and that it can be customized is a great impetus to buy at Brooks, as long as Mr. Rozenfeld is “in the wings” to make things perfect.
